Baas in Eigen Bos is gebasseerd op de gelijknamige animatie film die in 2006 het licht zag. Net als in de film stuit een groep vrienden uit het bos op een stel jagers die weinig goeds met de dieren voor hebben. Alle dieren uit de film komen aanbod in de game en moeten gezamelijk de jagers te slim af zijn. Naast de nodige actie staat Baas in Eigen Bos ook garant voor de nodige humor en flauwe grappen, zoals dat ook de film kenmerkt.
