Met Halo: Reach probeert Bungie de Halo serie nieuw leven in te blazen. Ditmaal ga je op stap met een 4 man sterk elite team. Dit team gaat schuil onder de naam "Noble Team" en bestaat uit 4 keiharde Spartan soldaten. De strijdt tussen de convenant en mensheid wordt hiermee vanuit een geheel ander perspectief belicht. De game heeft een donkere setting mee gekregen waardoor de actie en spanning tot een climax zullen komen. Door het squad element van het spel zul je als speler moeten afwisselen tussen de verschillende soldaten uit het Noble Team. Met een grote variatie aan nieuwe voertuigen en wapens biedt Reach een geheel nieuwe ervaring voor fans van de Halo reeks.
